AI Auto Culling: reviewing flagged photos
An optional assist that flags possibly-blurry photos and near-duplicate burst frames as they upload, so you can find them faster -- it never deletes or hides anything automatically.
What it actually flags
- Blurry photos -- compared only against the sharpness of other photos in the same gallery, not some fixed universal standard, and only once a gallery has at least 3 photos to compare against. This is meant to catch the one soft frame in an otherwise-sharp burst, not to judge an intentionally soft-focus shoot against itself.
- Near-duplicates -- visually near-identical frames, the kind you get firing a fast burst. Duplicate checking is limited to the first 3,000 photos in a single gallery.
Flagging happens automatically as photos finish uploading. Flagged photos get a badge in your gallery's photo grid, and a "Review flagged" button jumps you straight to them.
Recommended keeper
When a burst of near-duplicate photos has at least one with a real sharpness reading, the sharpest one is marked "Recommended keeper" -- a real, honest suggestion based on actual sharpness, not a guess at composition, expression, or anything else. It's still just a suggestion: nothing else in that burst is hidden, moved, or touched unless you delete it yourself.
AI quality scoring (Quick Upload studios)
Studios subscribed to the Quick Upload add-on can turn on one more signal, separately, from the same Settings panel: each photo also gets an overall quality score from 0-100, weighing focus, composition, lighting, and subject expression. Photos scoring lower get a "Lower quality" badge in the grid, right alongside the blur/duplicate badges, and show up in the same "Review flagged" filter. This is bundled into Quick Upload's existing price -- no extra charge, and it's off until you turn it on.
